Ingate Quality of Service

There are many people on your corporate network who want to use the Internet through your firewall. On busy hours, this could make the traffic slow down. For some types of traffic this is more apparent; IP telephony and web traffic are some examples where you notice a slow down immediately. With Ingate QoS, you can prioritize your traffic and limit the bandwidth for certain types of traffic (e.g. image downloading). This will make your Internet access seem faster.

Ingate QoS gives you these functions:

• Bandwidth limitation for different traffic types (guaranteed and maximum bandwidth)
• Traffic prioritization for different traffic types
• Option to tag traffic for prioritization in subsequent network equipment

Ingate QoS is included in all Ingate Firewalls® and Ingate SIParators®.
