Ingate Launches New Software Version With New Functionality For All Ingate Firewalls And SIParators

Ingate Systems today launched a new version of their firewall and SIParator® software. Version 3.1.0 is available for all Ingate products and includes new and improved functionality for both firewall users and SIP users. Important functionality such as dynamic IP addresses, TLS encryption for SIP traffic, a Quality of Service feature that manages the bandwidth usage and improved performance are some of the new features in the new software version.

Stockholm, 10 October 2002 - Ingate Systems, the leading supplier of SIP-capable enterprise firewalls, today announced the launch of a new software version for all Ingate products. Version 3.1.0 includes new features for both firewall users and SIP users. Ingate has, as the first developer of SIP-capable firewalls, included TLS support for encrypted SIP signaling and authentication of SIP users via Digest. Other important new features are support for dynamic IP addresses (DHCP), management via SNMP, the option to manage bandwidth usage (QoS), and support for NTP.

With the new software the user will get improved performance and a faster user interface. Users and the media have cited our easy to use management interface as one of the hallmarks of Ingate’s products.
