Ingate® Systems Launches New Firewall Software; Adds Interoperability with Microsoft Live Communications Server

Improved Access Rights Management and Additional SIP Functionalities with Version 3.3.1

STOCKHOLM, February 17, 2004- Ingate Systems AB (www.ingate.com), the leading supplier of SIP-capable enterprise firewalls, announces the availability of new software versions for all Ingate Firewall® and Ingate SIParator® products. Version 3.3.1 boasts support for Microsoft Live Communications Server and incorporates several SIP and administrative improvements into its award-winning firewall and security products.

Interoperable with any enterprise running Microsoft Live Communications Server - which is based on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), the standard for realtime person-to-person communications - Ingate's new software enables clients both inside and outside the corporate firewall to access all features of the Server.

New functionalities available with 3.3.1 also include the possibility to register multiple administration accounts with separate access rights and passwords. Several other improvements to the SIP functionality have been incorporated into the new software version as well.

Version 3.3.1 is available now. Ingate's customers may install this upgrade at no charge by visiting the Ingate Website at www.ingate.com/upgrades/. The security administrator can configure the firewall/SIParator® to automatically detect future software updates available on the Internet.
