Ingate Firewall® and Ingate SIParator® products provide an elegant and cost-effective solution for SIP-enabling an enterprise. These products are unique in the way they deliver this functionality within the enterprise firewall itself while maintaining superior control and security at the enterprise network edge. Ingate products also solve the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues inherent in SIP communications. Since NAT hides private IP addresses from the public Internet, Ingate's products enable seamless connectivity by matching SIP communications originating from outside a company with the appropriate internal IP address.

In addition to resolving these near-end NAT traversal issues, Ingate offers Remote SIP Connectivity, a far-end NAT traversal solution that extends the SIP capabilities of a corporate network to remote workers. Remote SIP Connectivity significantly enhances the mobility of employees by enabling the use of corporate IP telephony applications, instant messaging and other communication services from most any location outside the local area network (LAN).
