The awards recognize innovative technology and creative product feature sets. Ingate Advanced SIP Routing module provides increased functionality for controlling and routing SIP media, both for incoming and outgoing communications. It gives IT managers the ability to control how the SIP traffic should be routed in a very detailed and flexible way, making almost any scenario possible. The new software module supports least-cost routing, ENUM lookup, emergency calls and can also handle transcoding of transport protocols like TCP, UDP and TLS.

Like all Ingate hardware, the Firewall 1450 and SIParator 45 solve the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues inherent in SIP communications, and offer both far- and near-end NAT traversal to extend the SIP capabilities within the corporate network to remote workers. Incorporated in the new Firewalls and SIParators is the same full SIP proxy, which deliver maximum control over SIP signaling, traffic and network security as in all Ingate Firewalls and SIParators.
