Ingate® Systems and Brekeke Announce Interoperability of Ingate SIParator® and Brekeke PBX

HOLLIS, NH and SAN MATEO, Calif. – June 11, 2008 Ingate® Systems (www.ingate.com), which develops firewall technology and products that enable SIP-based live communication for the enterprise while maintaining control and security at the network edge, and Brekeke Software, Inc. (www.brekeke.com), developer and manufacturer of award-winning SIP communication technologies, announced today the successful interoperability of Ingate’s award-winning line of Ingate SIParator® products and Brekeke’s SIP-based IP-PBX, Brekeke PBX.

The successful completion of rigorous interoperability testing offers users a complete solution that works seamlessly together, to provide enterprises using the Brekeke PBX the ability to deploy SIP trunks and support remote users with the highest level of security for VoIP and other realtime communications applications.

Ingate’s SIParators make it possible for enterprises to connect the Brekeke PBX to a service provider’s SIP trunk by solving the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues with the protocol while maintaining the security and integrity of the network. SIP trunks rapidly reduce costs by eliminating the need for an enterprise PSTN gateway, unused BRI/PRI capacity, expensive and underutilized phone lines or trunks at remote offices, and by providing PSTN termination in the local area.

With an Ingate in place, remote and mobile workers can utilize the Brekeke PBX at a central location as if they were in the office, allowing employees working from home, small offices, hotels and other locations to benefit from all of the tools that are available from the Brekeke product. With Ingate’s Remote SIP Connectivity feature, no new hardware or software is required at the remote site.
